    Strong base-stock evidence

Manufacturer confirms original 500-speed motion-picture base; 5219 is a strong candidate. Current contract-coated still film and C-41 gamma prevent automatic use of Kodak ECN-2 MTF.

    Relationship evidence

Still needed: Obtain a brand-issued exact product/coating crosswalk or inspect a documented, dated retail roll and base-stock control.

    Plausible base · code unconfirmed

AHU/remjet-free tungsten film with EI 500 ECN-2 is consistent with current 500T technology, but RETO does not name Kodak/5219. AHU is a construction feature, not an exclusive manufacturer identity.

    Proposed identification

Kodak VISION3 base; consistent with the recorded 500T candidate but exact current stock code remains undisclosed by RETO.

    Relationship evidence

Still needed: Obtain a brand-issued exact product/coating crosswalk or inspect a documented, dated retail roll and base-stock control.

Current version confirmed · older sample unresolved

Archived current 800 Reserve C-41 and ECN-2 sheets explicitly identify VISION3 500T 5219. This stronger identity evidence applies to current Reserve, with earlier tested 800T generation unconfirmed; C-41 is not Kodak ECN-2 MTF.

    Manufacturer-confirmed respool

Flic explicitly names the Kodak VISION3 base and ECN-2 process. The archived Kodak sheet is a base-stock reference; the Flic retail roll was not independently measured.

    Relationship evidence

A solid connection establishes the stated relationship, such as a respool or family variant. It does not establish unchanged resolution, processing or coating generation. Dashed connections retain the identity uncertainty.
